If you go to BAM Harvey Theater, and you can only afford balcony seats (I paid $45), try to sit in the first 4 rows, which seemed much more comfortable and less like a rockclimbing experience than the rows behind the first 4 - at least those first 4 rows get to put their feet on the floor not on highchair footrests.
I would not advise sitting in this seat, because the huge pillar just to the right of your sightline means that you miss about one third of the stage, including actor entrances and exits.
Oh - and the climb to the balcony is incredible, its about 3 stories of steps, straight up, a tough climb even for a fit person.
I mean that the seating in the balcony is so vertical, that literally you look down on the stage - and although I don't have vertigo, I felt really dizzy in the seat. Venue.
